1/1500s, ISO 160, f/5.6, crazy sharp!

I went by train for 1.5 hours today to walk around in Simrishamn for 20 minutes and then I took the 1.5 hour long train ride back home. Of course this was with a reason, I upgraded to a Summicron 35/2 IV from my old Summaron 35/2.8, which is now for sale. This is the first picture I took with it walking around in this cute little town by the sea. I could tell by this very first frame; It’s a marvelous lens.

Nu säljer jag mitt Summaron på grund av uppgradering. Detta var mitt första Leica-objektiv och det har fungerat mycket bra sedan jag köpte det på Photografica i Köpenhamn den 17/6 tidigare i år. Mitt pris är inklusive ett i matchande silver UV/IR-filter som jag heller inte behöver för att jag har redan ett svart på mitt nya, svarta objektiv.

Objektivet är i version M3, med så kallade “glasögon”. Se bilder. Dessa kan skruvas av om man vill, men då får man chansa lite i sökaren för det blir fel sökarlinjer. Gluggen fungerar dock utmärkt med dessa kvar, har kört gluggen på min M8 utan problem.

Det som ingår i priset är alltså:
– Leica Leitz Wetzlar Summicron 35mm f/2.8 serienr 1810532
– Leica E39 UV/IR 13416
– Bakre objektivlock 14269

Objektivet har en kosmetisk defekt i kanten av det högra ögat i “glasögonen”, vilket är en mindre bula på 1-2mm i aluminiumet. Påverkar ingenting av funktionen eller utseendet i det stora hela, men är värt att påpekas. I övrigt bör det påpekas att detta objektiv är tillverkat 1960 och har därför använts en del, vänta dig därför inte ett objektiv som ser “nytt” ut. Det har använts och är därför inte skinande rent.

Helst avhämtning, men kan skickas också mot att köparen betalar portot samt emballage.

Okay so I’m back

It’s been a rough week getting over the break-in. I lost so much. Luckily I’m pretty clear in my head so I have the psychological memories left. I’ve decided to take a little different approach with my photography; I’m going to try and do more street photography aside from my regular journalistic photography. Not only because several of my role models do it nowadays but also because I think it will improve my personality and self confidence. Not that it needs improving but change is sometimes good!

Meanwhile I’ll have to cope with this five year old macbook that keeps getting kernel panics every now and then whenever it feels like it, until the insurance company has resolved the issue of me not being able to change curves on a photo and see it change in under two minutes. Oh god I miss my iMac.

As you can probably see, I’ve removed several posts that depicted my personal items and recent buys, I think you can figure out why. Sorry, my materialistic fans, you’ll have to browse someplace else in the future!

This will be the last very verbal post like this in a long time. Please check back later for some lovely photo-posts and watch the videos below to see what inspired my change.

I can’t believe I haven’t seen this until now. Thank you Chris Weeks! This is a great documentary albeit with some scenes where the audio could’ve been better. But who can dislike a documentary where the voice over sounds like right out of American Psycho, the interviewees are all role models and there are Leicas all over the place due to bad audio? Not me. I call it perfect. It’s so good I neglected my rule about “only original content” on this blog just to share it, so watch it, please!

Had to celebrate my last day of vacation some how, so I invited my dearest to a picnic in my favorite park Magistratsparken with french pastry and wine, it was delicious!

Adam took me to a pizzeria which hosts an underground jazz club in their basement. The light was terrible but the bolognese and beer went down well with the tunes!
